There are a lot of players around the world and loving someone’s class shots and game style is ok but when someone calls me for to choose best 11 I makes me all nervy and sweaty cause everyone’s best on their position and for their team but when it comes to world 11 you have to take many things into consideration. With that out of the way, here’s my World Test XI. Feel free to disagree with me and comment why I’m clueless.
- Mr. TIKTOK
If you are regular cricket follower, you know who I am referring to. Yeah, it’s The Bull, DAVID WARNER. His attacking and aggression is the best possible way to start up an inning.
- Mr. Tuk-Tuk
Hot and cold, ice and fire, aggression and calmness; you could use any of those and many other analogies for this opening pair. His patience and the ability to test the character, technique and ability of bowler makes him the perfect for the format. Yeah, you got it, it’s Chiteshwor Pujara.
- The Iceman
There have been very few people in World Cricket as calm and composed as the Kiwi Captain Kane Williamson. No matter the situation he is level headed that’s why he’s my Captain of the team. And at the time of writing he’s the World’s No.1 Test Batsman. So yeahhh………
- The Show Stealer
The most popular Cricket Player in the world. He’s a show stealer on and off of the field. Virat Kholi has that swagger about him that we associate with the lights of Cristiano Ronaldo, Conor MacGregor and guess he’s up there with the world’s elite.
- The Run Machine
What a team, this is turning out to be. Top three batsman of the world following one other, that’s not a sight you can enjoy often. What is there to say about the fidgety, weirdly and very unorthodox Steve Smith. He goes down as the one of the all time test player. Period….
- The Dargan
The no.6 position fits him like a glove. His aggressive batting to add up with his more than good enough bowling and excellent fielding gives us the balance any team in the world would love to have. It’s like playing with 12 players. I was talking about Hardik Pandya, lol kidding its Benjamin Stokes.
- The Baby Face Assain
Don’t let his face fool you, he is one of the most dangerous player in the world. He can take the game away from you in matter of 20-30 balls. And his keeping skills is matched by very few. Quinton De Kock is my keeper batsman.
- As Complete A Man Can Get
That’s what his captain had to say about this lad. A hint for you he’s the world No.1 Test Bowler. Yes, its Patty Cummins. Any amount of praise is not enough for my boy.
- The GOAT
As the king of spin himself said there are very few spinner in world cricket that can give oppositions few nightmare and Nathan, The Garrrrrrrrrrryyyyyyyyyyyy, Lyon is one of them. No matter the pitch he finds ways to make me valuable and is a good complement to the quicks. Heck, he can bat if needed, he has saved Australia’s backside with bat more than they would be proud of.
- The Freak
He has been in and round the conversation for the best fast bowler for the best part of a decade. Even though his batting has taken a backside, one would imagine that wouldn’t be required with the mestros that are ahead of him. He’s freak cause he can bowl out a team just in a spell; just ask the Aussie, they have many horror stories to tell you about him. It’s none other than Stuart Board.
- The Yorker Specialist
He has taken the world cricket by storm and the arrival has been like a fish to water. He’s got deadly Yorkers, nice lively pace, good bouncer and discipline that is uncanny to a fast bowler. Of Course, it’s Jasprit Bumrah.
This is my Best XI, let us know yours.
